Dragon’s Breath Mead

Dragon’s Breath Mead is a unique quest mead in Skyrim, hidden by Horgeir near Dragon Bridge and sought by his wife Olda.

Dragon’s Breath Mead is a one-of-a-kind bottle of mead tied to a small quest in Dragon Bridge. Olda is fed up with her husband Horgeir drinking too much, and she knows he keeps a secret stash somewhere outside the village. She asks the Dragonborn to track it down and bring the bottle back to her. Visually it looks just like an ordinary Nord Mead.

Effects

If drunk, the mead restores 20 points of Stamina, but Stamina then regenerates 30% slower for 60 seconds. It weighs 0.5 and is worth 5 gold.

Where to find it

The only bottle is the one Horgeir has hidden near Dragon Bridge, which you are sent to fetch in the quest Dragon’s Breath Mead. Unlike regular alcoholic drinks, it does not respawn.

Good to know

  • Do not drink it before handing it over: the bottle is needed to finish the quest.
  • Once the quest is done, the mead stays with whoever received it, Olda or Horgeir, and can be pickpocketed from them.

Where to find it

  • Horgeir’s hidden stash near Dragon Bridge, during the quest Dragon’s Breath Mead.
  • After the quest: can be pickpocketed from Olda or Horgeir.
