Netch Poison

Netch Poison is a Dragonborn poison dealing 5 damage to Health and Stamina for 4 seconds, a renamed twin of Frostbite Venom.

Netch Poison is a poison added with the Dragonborn expansion. Its name brings to mind the floating netch, but its in-game description calls it a blood-freezing poison. It is something of a curiosity: the item exists in the game files, yet there is no place in the world where you can find it, buy it or loot it during normal play.

Effects

When applied to a weapon and delivered with a hit, Netch Poison deals 5 points of damage to both the target’s Health and Stamina for 4 seconds. With such a small, short effect, it would be of little use beyond the early game even if it were available.

Name Effect Value Weight Form ID
Netch Poison A blood-freezing poison that does 5 points damage to Health and Stamina for 4 seconds. 21 0.5 xx01CD7D

Where to find it

Netch Poison is not placed anywhere in the game world and is not sold or dropped by anything, so it cannot be obtained through normal gameplay.

Good to know

  • It is practically identical to Frostbite Venom: the effect and the bottle model are the same, and only the name and form ID differ.
  • Because it is unobtainable, there is nothing to miss. If you want a Health-damaging poison, look at Damage Health poisons, and for Stamina, Damage Stamina poisons.
  • Like all potions and poisons, it weighs 0.5 and has a modest base value of 21 gold.
  • Poisons in general are applied to a weapon from the inventory, and the effect is delivered with the next hit that lands.

Where to find it

  • Not obtainable in normal play; it is not placed in the world, sold or dropped.
