Horgeir is a Nord lumberjack and the owner of the lumber mill in Dragon Bridge. His wife Olda calls him a lazy, good-for-nothing drunk; he calls her a spiteful shrew with ice where her heart should be. Happy families.
Where to find them
He lives in Dragon Bridge with Olda and his brother Lodvar, and works around the mill.
Quests
Horgeir is the other half of the Dragon’s Breath Mead errand. Olda asks you to grab his favourite bottle from his secret stash, but you can hand it to Horgeir instead. He is so grateful that he teaches you how to block a punch from an angry spouse, which means a free Block skill increase.
Services
He buys firewood for 5 gold a piece, so chopping wood at the block is an easy way to make a little money.
Personality & relationships
Horgeir believes a Nord needs a strong drink, a sharp axe and a good woman, and says two out of three is not bad. He says business has boomed since the war started, though he also grumbles that money has been tight since the mill burned down. He worries the armies might try to wreck the ancient bridge, the only crossing over the Karth for a long way. He recommends the Silver-Blood Inn in Markarth for ale. According to Faida, he is the only person in town who does not know Olda is having an affair.
Good to know
If you have sold him firewood and he dies, you may receive a Letter of Inheritance.
