Olda is a Nord lumberjack in Dragon Bridge and the wife of mill owner Horgeir. She does not trust strangers, she does not trust soldiers, and she definitely does not trust her husband.
Where to find them
She lives in Dragon Bridge with Horgeir and his brother Lodvar, and works around the family’s lumber mill.
Quests
Dragon’s Breath Mead: Olda tells you Horgeir swore on his ancestors to quit drinking, then went and hid a stash in a nearby cave, guarded by wolves no less. She asks you to bring her his favourite bottle, the Dragon’s Breath Mead, and says you can keep any other drink you find. Bring it back and she rewards you for your trouble. You can also give the bottle to Horgeir instead, which earns you his gratitude rather than hers.
Personality & relationships
Olda is blunt and sarcastic. She is convinced the soldiers stationed in town will eventually seize the mill for the war effort, and she blames Horgeir for the family’s debts: he owns the mill, barely, is behind on his loan and drinks away the money. She even jokes about cutting out his tongue.
Her own hands are not exactly clean. Faida says the whole town knows Olda is having an affair, and the man in question is Lodvar. Even so, she will send hired thugs after you if you kill Horgeir.
Good to know
Olda’s appearance is randomly generated, so she can look young or old depending on your game. Now and then she borrows a line from Frabbi and asks if you have met her husband, Kleppr.
