Lingering Damage Stamina Poisons

Lingering Damage Stamina Poisons sap 1 to 5 Stamina per second for 30 seconds, slowly wearing a target down after a single hit.

Where the regular Stamina poisons hit all at once, this family works slowly. After a poisoned strike the target loses 1 to 5 points of Stamina every second for 30 seconds, so the strongest version drains up to 150 points over its full run. It is a quieter tool, useful when a fight is likely to drag on and you want the enemy too tired for power attacks by the end of it.

Where to find them

These leveled poisons appear in loot, on characters and in the inventories of merchants who deal in potions and poisons. Stronger tiers become more common as you level.

Brewing your own

You can brew them with the Alchemy skill at an alchemy lab. These ingredients have Lingering Damage Stamina:

Mix any two to create the poison, then apply it to a weapon from your inventory. The next hit you land carries the effect.

Tips

If you want the drain upfront, the instant Damage Stamina poisons are the stronger choice.

Where to find it

  • Found as loot throughout Skyrim; the strength of the tier you find is leveled to your character.
  • Sold by vendors who stock potions.
  • Brewed at an alchemy lab with the Alchemy skill.
