Resist Shock Potions

Resist Shock potions cut incoming shock damage by 20 to 50 percent for a minute, blunting lightning spells and electric attacks.

Resist Shock potions reduce the shock damage you take for 60 seconds. Drink one before facing an enemy mage who favours lightning, or any foe known for electric attacks, and the fight becomes a lot more forgiving for warriors and mages alike.

Where to find them

You can buy them from potion vendors or find them as loot. Being leveled, the stronger versions start appearing as your character gains levels. Every tier weighs just 0.5, so keeping one or two in reserve for an unexpected storm of lightning costs you almost nothing in carry weight.

Brewing your own

The effect has an unusually wide spread of ingredients, which makes it easy to brew with the Alchemy skill. Any two of these will do:

Matching a third ingredient that shares another effect with one of the pair lets you fold extra effects into the same bottle.

Tips

Drink it at the start of a fight against a lightning-casting foe so the full minute covers the exchange.
Stack it with other resist effects you already have for even less damage.
