Girduin was a Bosmer student at the College of Winterhold who joined Atmah on her trip into Labyrinthian. Only his ghost remains, stuck replaying the expedition’s early, more optimistic moments.

He appears as a psychic impression near the start of Labyrinthian, alongside the other members of the group.
Quests
You hear Girduin during The Staff of Magnus. He is the one reasoning that a place with Labyrinthian’s history probably still holds some power worth finding. Unfortunately he is also the first to fall, killed when a skeletal dragon and a pack of skeletons ambushed the group. In the next echo the survivors argue over going back for him, and Atmah grimly notes there isn’t enough of him left to bother.
Personality & relationships
Girduin has a bit of a mouth on him, teasing Atmah about being the Arch-Mage’s favourite when she frets about getting back before anyone notices. His fellow students were Savos Aren, Hafnar Ice-Fist, Elvali Veren and Takes-In-Light.
