Hafnar Ice-Fist was a Nord sorcerer from the College of Winterhold and one of the six students who followed Atmah into Labyrinthian. Like most of them he never came home. His ghost shows up wherever the expedition left a strong psychic impression.

Quests
Hafnar’s story unfolds during The Staff of Magnus. He is the practical one who just wants to get inside and see what is there, and he is skeptical that they will find anything useful. After Girduin dies he refuses to go back in after him, and it is Hafnar who reports that Elvali Veren was snatched from behind. At the last door he senses what lies beyond and insists they stay together no matter what.
They do. Hafnar and Atmah end up as the two Enthralled Wizards keeping the Dragon Priest Morokei trapped, while Savos Aren is the only one to walk away.
Personality & relationships
Blunt and level-headed, Hafnar is the steady voice of the group, with less optimism than Savos and less guilt than Atmah. Takes-In-Light was the other member of the expedition.
