Kust is a Nord who looks after the graveyard in Falkreath, one of the largest in Skyrim. He works as assistant to Runil, the priest of Arkay: Runil keeps the shrine, Kust keeps the headstones and paths tidy.
Where to find them
He lives in Falkreath’s Hall of the Dead and spends his days among the graves outside it.
Personality & relationships
Kust is gruff with outsiders – he figures strangers bring war, and he has seen more than enough of that. He may even tell you that you look like a killer. Show respect in the cemetery and he’ll leave you alone. With Runil he has a quietly philosophical double act: when the priest says many good men lie buried there, Kust answers that men aren’t good or bad, just men. He also notes how few people come to honour the dead in wartime.
Good to know
- Kill Lod or Bolund and a courier may bring you a thank-you letter from Kust.
- Kill Runil, or steal from either of them, and Kust may hire thugs to come after you.
