Imperial Mages are spellcasters fielded by the Imperial Legion in its fight against the Stormcloak rebellion. They aren’t one named person but a type of soldier – the Legion’s answer to needing fire rather than more swords.
Where to find them
The best-known pair is in Helgen during the opening, where two of them try to fight off Alduin while the town burns around them.
Quests
They appear in Unbound as part of the Imperial defence of Helgen.
Personality & relationships
They’re combat mages first and foremost. They cast Firebolt to attack and patch themselves up with Healing. They wear Imperial light armour and boots, and swap the helmet for a Torturer’s Hood, which gives them a rather sinister look for an army medic-artillery combo.
