Angeline Morrard

Angeline Morrard is the elderly Breton who runs Angeline’s Aromatics in Solitude and is anxiously waiting for news of her soldier daughter.
“Need something for a potion? You’re certainly in the right place.”

Angeline Morrard is an elderly Breton who owns Angeline’s Aromatics in Solitude, running the shop together with her niece Vivienne Onis. Before the war her herbs mostly went into perfumes for people’s homes; these days the customers tend to want something that stops the bleeding. Plenty of people, Angeline included, call her Angela and the shop Angela’s Aromatics.

Quests

No News is Good News – Angeline’s daughter Fura joined the Imperial Legion against her mother’s warnings and was posted to Whiterun. Angeline hasn’t heard from her in a while, and Captain Aldis won’t tell her anything. Offer to ask him yourself. Aldis has to be persuaded, intimidated or simply ordered if you outrank him, and the answer isn’t good. Fura’s scouting party ran into a large Stormcloak force and nobody made it back. Angeline takes it as bravely as anyone could, bitter that her daughter died in a war between jarls and generals, but she thanks you for telling her the truth.

Services

She sells alchemy ingredients and potions. She doesn’t train Alchemy, though. Ask and she calls herself a simple herbalist and points you to Lami in Morthal or Arcadia in Whiterun.

Personality & relationships

Angeline is a warm, chatty shopkeeper who likes to compliment her customers – she hopes your parents are proud of you. Her banter with Vivienne is a highlight: when Angeline describes mandrake root as the one that looks like an ugly little man, Vivienne reckons it tried to buy her a drink the night before.
