The Honed Falmer War Axe is the sharpened version of the Falmer War Axe. It looks identical, crude and organic, carved from chitin harvested from the chaurus, but it deals 13 base damage and is worth considerably more.
At 21 weight it is heavy for a one-handed axe, and since it cannot be crafted or improved, it is more a curiosity or trade good than a long-term weapon. Still, it suits anyone going for the full Falmer Armor look, and it sells for a decent 245 gold.

Where to find
- Wielded by Falmer of all kinds, especially Falmer gloomlurkers.
- Falmer lurk in the deep caves and Dwemer ruins beneath Skyrim, so any delve into their territory is a chance to pick one up.
- It cannot be forged at any forge, so killing its owners is the only way to get one.
Crafting and upgrading
This weapon cannot be crafted at a forge – you have to find, loot or buy it.
It cannot be improved at a grindstone.

- This axe cannot be improved at a grindstone, so its 13 damage is what you get unless you enchant it.
