The Honed Falmer Sword is built from chitin harvested from the Chaurus, the creature behind most Falmer craftsmanship. It looks identical to the plain Falmer Sword but hits harder, with 12 base damage, and is worth more.
At 18 weight it is on the heavy side for a one-handed sword. It sits outside the normal Smithing tiers – you cannot forge it, and it cannot be improved at a grindstone – so what you loot is what you get. It completes the look of anyone wearing Falmer Armor.

Where to find
Falmer of all kinds carry this sword. Head into the deep caves and Dwemer ruins where the Falmer live, such as Blackreach, and loot the bodies.
Crafting and upgrading
This weapon cannot be crafted at a forge – you have to find, loot or buy it.
It cannot be improved at a grindstone.

Tips and notes
