- Leveled loot from level 27 (unenchanted) and level 28 (enchanted): merchants, enemies, chests and world items.
- Northwatch Keep after level 27: on a weapon rack in the room where Thorald Gray-Mane is held during the quest Missing in Action.
- Morwen’s House on Solstheim (Dragonborn): locked inside a display case.

Crafting at a forge: 1 × Refined Malachite, 1 × Refined Moonstone, 2 × 
Leather Strips. Requires the Glass Smithing Smithing perk.
Improving at a grindstone: 1 × Refined Malachite. The Arcane Blacksmith perk doubles the improvement.

Tips and notes
- Requires Smithing 70 and the Glass Smithing perk to forge; the same perk doubles tempering gains with Refined Malachite.
- The axe head is the same shape as the head of a glass arrow.
- When it hangs on your hip, the right blade clips through the Dragonborn’s arm, so don’t look too closely.
