Yrsa is a Nord of the Skaal on Solstheim (Dragonborn) and the wife of Deor Woodcutter. Like many of her people, she spends the early part of the story not quite herself.
Where to find them
You first come across her at the Tree Stone alongside Oslaf, labouring under Miraak‘s influence as one of the Skaal pressed into building his temple. Once Cleansing the Stones is complete she goes home to Skaal Village, where she sleeps in Deor Woodcutter’s House.
Personality & relationships
Yrsa holds the classic Skaal belief that the people and the land are one, bound together by the All-Maker. She is grateful to you for breaking the spell and doesn’t like to imagine what would have happened otherwise. She keeps a polite distance from the Dark Elves: they stay in Raven Rock, the Skaal stay in their village, and everyone is happier that way. She also has a gently pointed remark about Fanari Strong-Voice saying a little more than she should. When Storn Crag-Strider gives his life, Yrsa is left shaken, wondering when the dark times will finally end.
