Oslaf

Oslaf is a Skaal Nord of Skaal Village, husband of Finna and father of Aeta, who spends much of Dragonborn entranced at the Temple of Miraak.
“The others call you a friend, but I still see an outsider.”

Oslaf is a Nord of the Skaal living in Skaal Village on Solstheim (Dragonborn). He is married to Finna and they have a daughter, Aeta. He isn’t the friendliest face in the village: while others may warm to you, Oslaf makes it clear he still sees you as an outsider.

Where to find them

For most of the DLC you’ll find him in a trance at the Temple of Miraak, labouring on the building alongside Yrsa under Miraak‘s influence. After you finish At the Summit of Apocrypha, he finally goes home to his house in the village.

Personality & relationships

Gruff as he is, Oslaf respects his elders. When Storn Crag-Strider sacrifices himself reading the Black Book, Oslaf joins the rest of the village in saying goodbye, thanking the old shaman for always protecting them and wishing him peace in the next life.

Good to know

He is essential until At the Summit of Apocrypha is completed, so you can’t lose him to a stray dragon before then.
