Aeta is a Nord child growing up in Skaal Village, the snowy Nord settlement on Solstheim (Dragonborn). She is the daughter of Oslaf and Finna, and she has big plans: she wants to be a hunter, and she is already practising on the local rabbits and foxes.
Where to find them
Aeta stays in and around Skaal Village with her family. She is in fact the only child you will meet anywhere on Solstheim. She wears a one-of-a-kind set of black and grey children’s clothes with a light dusting of snow on the shoulders.
Personality & relationships
Her hero is Wulf Wild-Blood, the village’s First Hunter, and she openly says she wants to be just like him. She is fearless in the way only kids can be: her mother warns her that a dragon could carry her off if she wanders too far, and Aeta is not impressed. She also cannot quite see the point of the huge cities the elders talk about, since one village seems like plenty of buildings to her.
When Storn Crag-Strider gives his life reading the Black Book, Aeta is among the villagers who mourn him, begging the All-Maker to send the old shaman back.
Good to know
With Hearthfire installed, Aeta can end up at Honorhall Orphanage if both of her parents die, and she then becomes available for adoption. Talk to Constance Michel before speaking to Aeta at the orphanage, or she may just repeat that she has to get back to the village.
