Finna

A devout Skaal woman of the Skaal Village on Solstheim, wife of Oslaf and mother of young Aeta, with a strong faith in the All-Maker.
“There is strength and courage in your eyes. You have the spirit of a great hunter.”

Finna is a Nord of the Skaal, the nature-revering tribe that lives in Skaal Village in the snowy north of Solstheim (Dragonborn). She is a homemaker rather than a hero, but she is one of the warm, steady faces that make the village feel like a real community.

Where to find them

Finna lives in the Skaal Village together with her husband Oslaf and their daughter Aeta, and spends her days around the family’s house and the village paths.

Personality & relationships

Faith in the All-Maker sits at the centre of Finna’s life, and it colours almost everything she says. She is quick to compliment a capable stranger, and if she likes the look of you she will tell you that you carry the spirit of a great hunter – high praise among the Skaal.

She is among the villagers who witness the shocking moment when Storn Crag-Strider reads the Black Book to free the island from Miraak‘s grip. While others react with grief, confusion or fear, Finna answers with a short prayer, asking the All-Maker to guide the old shaman’s soul onward – very much in character.

Good to know

Her name is shared with a famous figure of Nord legend: Finna, the squire who slew the Snow Prince at the Battle of the Moesring.
