Geldis Sadri is the Dunmer landlord of The Retching Netch, the cornerclub in Raven Rock on Solstheim (Dragonborn). He claims to serve the finest sujamma you will ever taste, knows everybody in town, and is never short of a story, including a gleefully disgusting one about how the club got its name, involving a naked drunk, a flying bottle and a very unwell netch.
Where to find them
He works behind the counter of The Retching Netch. His business hours run roughly from 8 in the morning to 8 in the evening; outside them the option to buy from him can be missing, so wait until morning if that happens.
Quests
- Feeding the Addiction – he has banned Bralsa Drel because he can no longer watch her drink away her fortune. Persuade, intimidate or bribe him to let her back in.
- It’s All In The Taste – he gives you ten bottles of his own sujamma to hand out around the island. Plenty of people, Redoran guards included, will turn it down.
- Served Cold – he helps you hunt the Ulen family, suggesting you wait in the Ulen tomb where someone keeps leaving ash yam offerings.
- The Frostmoon Hunters – a rumour of werewolves seen in the mountains points you to Frostmoon Crag.
- Unearthed – talking to him is one way to start the quest and get pointed toward Ralis Sedarys.
Services
Geldis sells food and drink, Ashfire Mead included, and rents a room for 10 gold. Like most barkeeps, he is also a handy source of rumours.
Personality & relationships
He loves money and says so, yet his soft spot for Bralsa shows there is a heart under the sales pitch. He is a loyal supporter of Councilor Morvayn and can recount the failed coup of Vilur Ulen, who was caught by Captain Veleth himself. His greetings change as you help the town, from toasting the hero of Fort Frostmoth to cheering the reopened mine.
