The Legendary Sancre Tor

A Two-handed skill book: the history of Alessia's holy city in the Jerall Mountains.

The Legendary City of Sancre Tor by Matera Chapel traces the mountain city from the First Era onward. It was at Sancre Tor that Saint Alessia received the inspiration for her slave rebellion and later founded her holy city, settled partly by Nord and Breton mercenaries. The book explains why the remote site never grew rich, and notes that today its ruins are home to goblin tribes. It also admits that no one knows for sure where Alessia is buried.

Skill book

The Legendary Sancre Tor is a Two-handed skill book. The first time you read a copy, your Two-handed skill goes up by one point – later copies of the same title don’t give anything extra, so there is no need to carry them around.

Notes

Read it together with Battle of Sancre Tor, which covers the city’s most famous siege.
