The Battle of Sancre Tor describes the campaign of 2E 852. Nord and Breton allies held the mountain citadel of Sancre Tor and dared General Talos to attack with a small, half-starved army in the dead of winter. The book explains how he did it anyway – and how the victory connected him to the ancient symbol of the Covenant that helped him found the Third Empire.
