The Doors of Oblivion by Seif-ij Hidja is told by the former assistant of Morian Zenas, the great mage who wrote the standard text on Oblivion. Zenas sets out to explore the Daedric realms himself, sending reports back through his assistant – until his messages from Hermaeus Mora’s realm become stranger and stranger. A great read before you visit Apocrypha in Dragonborn.

The Doors of Oblivion is a Conjuration skill book. The first time you read a copy, your Conjuration skill goes up by one point – later copies of the same title don’t give anything extra, so there is no need to carry them around.
