The Skyforge Steel Sword looks just like an ordinary steel sword, but Eorlund Gray-Mane’s work at the Skyforge pushes it to 11 base damage, matching an Elven Sword. It is the standard blade of the Companions in Jorrvaskr.
Since it is lighter than the Elven Sword and upgrades with plain steel, it is an excellent mid-game choice. Eorlund promises it will be as sharp as Fralia’s tongue, which is quite a recommendation.
