Jora is a Nord priestess who serves at the Temple of Talos in Windhelm together with her husband Lortheim. She is proud that hers is the one temple in Skyrim where Talos can still be worshipped openly, and gives Ulfric the credit for keeping the Thalmor away.
Where to find them
In the Temple of Talos. To receive Talos’s blessing she simply tells you to pray at the altar.
Quests
She can be the Butcher’s final target during Blood on the Ice if the killer isn’t stopped in time, regardless of whether Wuunferth has been arrested.
Personality & relationships
Jora will explain who Talos was and why the Empire’s ban on his worship hits Nords so hard. She keeps an eye on the faithful: the Shatter-Shields have been coming in since losing their daughter, Hillevi Cruel-Sea visits often, and Captain Lonely-Gale is always too busy. Her marriage is under strain – she tells Elda Early-Dawn she only sees Lortheim at breakfast because he’s always at the palace. When Niranye offers to help them disappear if the Thalmor come, Jora politely says she’ll keep it in mind. If the Imperial Legion wins the war, she mourns Ulfric and vows never to give up Talos, even if it makes her a martyr.
