Bruca’s Leap Redoubt is a fortified Forsworn camp beside the Karth River, southwest of the village of Dragon Bridge. The outer camp uses the terrain well – a palisade, tents around a central fire pit – and at the back a cave leads into the rock wall. That cave is the actual redoubt, and inside the camp leader is busy with something you’d rather interrupt.
What you’ll find
- An outdoor camp with a palisade, several Forsworn tents, a fire pit and a tanning rack.
- An Apprentice-locked chest behind the tents.
- A short cave tunnel ending in a cavern with a raised platform.
- A Forsworn Briarheart performing a ritual over a dead Forsworn – quite possibly making a new Briarheart.
- Forsworn Ravagers among the defenders.
- Namira’s rot and other alchemy ingredients.
Quests
This is one of the busiest radiant spots in the region. Confirmed or possible quests here include:
- Briarheart Necropsy.
- A bounty from Jarl Igmund on the Forsworn leader.
- The Forgemaster’s Fingers and Shalidor’s Insights.
- Possible location for Lisbet’s missing shipment, Meridia’s Beacon for The Break of Dawn, the Ancient Power radiant quest, and Wind and Sand.
- Possible spot for the Priest of Boethiah in The House of Horrors.
- Sometimes tied to the ghost of Old Hroldan.
Notable items
- A Tragedy in Black – Enchanting skill book on a shelf.
- A human heart in a bowl on a table, for the morbid collector.
Tips
Thin out the camp from range before heading into the cave, so you don’t get pinned between the Briarheart and a crowd of angry Forsworn behind you. With luck you can catch the Briarheart mid-ritual and end the ceremony early.
Since so many quests point here, it pays to check your journal before you clear it – you may tick off two or three objectives in one trip.
