A Tragedy in Black is a short folk tale from the time of the Oblivion Crisis. A boy summons a dremora and orders it to teach him how to enchant a dress for his mother. The dremora happily gives him a gift – a black soul gem – and the lesson that follows is a deadly one. The moral: never accept a free gift from a summoned Daedra.
