Whiterun Imperial Camp is a field camp of the Imperial Legion out in the wilds west of Whiterun. It is a camp you may never see at all: it only exists if the city has fallen to the Stormcloaks during the Civil War, at which point the Legion pulls back and sets up here.
What you’ll find
- Imperial soldiers and an Imperial Quartermaster.
- An alchemy lab.
- An anvil, a grindstone and a workbench for smithing.
Quests
The camp is tied to the Civil War questline and only exists in a game where Whiterun has gone to the Stormcloaks – see the Battle for Whiterun.
Tips
Since the camp only exists once you have helped the Stormcloaks win Whiterun, you will almost always arrive here as the enemy. The soldiers will tell you to clear off, and if you hang around anyway, they attack. Read the room, or bring friends.
If you do need a forge and an alchemy lab in this corner of the hold, this camp is not the place to borrow one. Stick to the stations in Whiterun instead, where nobody is under orders to run you through.
