Ysolda is a young Nord in Whiterun with big plans: trade with the Khajiit caravans, learn the merchant’s craft at the market stalls and one day buy the Bannered Mare from its owner, Hulda. You’ll usually find her around the market or near Dragonsreach.
Rare Gifts
She asks you to find a Mammoth Tusk for her to trade with the Khajiit. Bring it to her and you get a Speech boost – and she becomes a marriage candidate.
Other appearances
She also turns up in A Night to Remember as one of the characters who may have handed you a wedding ring during your drunken night with Sam Guevenne – even if she’s married to you.
Good to know
- Essential, so she’s safe from dragons and accidents.
- One of the most popular spouses in Skyrim thanks to her location and storyline.
