Skald the Elder, of the Felgeif family, is the elderly Jarl of The Pale, ruling from the White Hall in Dawnstar. His family has held the jarldom for generations, and he himself has ruled for more than thirty-five years.
Personality
Skald is a grumpy old man with a strong dislike of the Empire – he regularly argues with two Legion veterans living in Dawnstar. He greatly respects Ulfric Stormcloak and is one of the few jarls who openly and actively support the Stormcloaks.
Political views
Skald believes the dragons have returned because Talos is angry with the Empire for banning his worship – and that they will disappear once the Stormcloaks drive the Empire out of Skyrim. Not many of his citizens share his enthusiasm.
