Erandur is a Dunmer healer and priest of Mara, staying at the Windpeak Inn in Dawnstar. When the townsfolk start suffering terrible nightmares, he steps forward to help – and he knows far more about the cause than he first lets on.
A dark past
As a young elf, Erandur was raised in a cult devoted to Vaermina, the Daedric Prince of nightmares, under the name Brother Casimir. He eventually escaped, renounced Vaermina and dedicated his life to Mara.
How to recruit Erandur
Complete the Daedric quest “Waking Nightmare” with him and spare him at the end, when Vaermina tries to convince you to turn on him. If you do, he becomes a follower.
As a follower
Erandur is a healer with strong Restoration and Conjuration, plus Speech, Alchemy and Smithing. He levels with you up to level 50 and is especially strong against undead. He will not take part in crimes.
