The Itinerant Lumberjack is a Nord woodcutter without a name or much of a life story. He turns up in Morthal and spends most of his time around the town’s mill. His true purpose in Skyrim is grimmer: he is one of ten recurring targets for the radiant contracts of the Dark Brotherhood.
Where to find them
Only in Morthal, mostly near the woodmill.
Quests
In The Dark Brotherhood Forever, a contractor may ask you to kill the Itinerant Lumberjack. Find him at the mill and do the deed, ideally without the whole town watching.
Good to know
A dragon attack on Morthal can do your work for you. If he dies that way, the contract still counts as finished.
