Durak is an Orsimer ranger in the Dawnguard. According to his own dialogue, he signed up to avenge his two wives, both killed by vampires – which gives him a very personal reason to be at Fort Dawnguard.
Role in Dawnguard
He’s one of the Dawnguard members who points new recruits towards Isran. If he survives the assault on Castle Volkihar in “Kindred Judgment”, he holds the main hall together with Isran, Sorine Jurard and Gunmar while you and Serana go after Harkon.
As a follower
Durak can be recruited as a follower and has no level cap. His strengths are Archery, Light Armor and One-Handed. He can also be made a steward (Hearthfire) or recruited into the Blades.
