Hallgerd’s Tale by Tavi Dromio brings back the tavern regulars from Vernaccus and Bourlor. They argue about who was the greatest warrior in history, and Hallgerd tells the story of a fighter who was more agile and accomplished in his heavy armor than out of it.
Skill book
Hallgerd’s Tale is a Heavy Armor skill book. The first time you read a copy, your Heavy Armor skill goes up by one point – later copies of the same title don’t give anything extra, so there is no need to carry them around.
