Pheasant Roast

Pheasant Roast is a light cooked meal in Skyrim made from pheasant breast and salt that restores 5 Health.

Pheasant Roast is a small portion of game bird, seasoned with salt and roasted until golden. It is one of the lightest cooked meals in Skyrim at 0.2 weight and sells for 4 gold, so it is easy to carry a stack of them on long journeys.

Effects

Eating it restores 5 points of Health. It is a simple instant restore with no lasting effect. That is modest, roughly in line with most basic cooked food, but enough to top up after a minor scrape without using a potion.

How to make it

Cook it at any cooking pot or spit. The recipe is known from the start of the game, and one batch requires:

Where to find it

The sources only document the cooking recipe. Cooking spots are common in inns and homes, for example in Riverwood and Whiterun, as well as in any player home with a kitchen.

Good to know

Pheasant Roast is practically identical in use to the Grilled Chicken Breast: same Health, same weight and same price. If you would rather carry fewer, heavier meals, the Leg of Goat Roast doubles the healing.

Where to find it
