Braided Bread

Braided Bread is a simple Hearthfire loaf baked from salt and flour that restores a little Health and briefly lets you carry more.

Braided Bread is a plaited loaf added with Hearthfire (Hearthfire). It is one of the cheapest and lightest things you can bake, weighing only 0.2 and needing just two common supplies, which makes it an easy first recipe once your homestead has an oven.

Effects

Eating it restores 2 Health and raises your carrying capacity by 5 for 30 seconds. Neither effect is large; the carry bonus can occasionally help when you are just over the limit and only need to walk a few steps to a merchant or a horse.

How to make it

Braided Bread is made at an oven in a Hearthfire home, not at a cooking pot. The recipe uses:

Each bake produces one loaf.

The data behind this page only records the oven recipe, so baking it yourself is the source covered here. For other loaves see Bread, Garlic Bread and Potato Bread.
