Minette Vinius is a young Nord girl living in Solitude. She’s the youngest child and only daughter of Corpulus Vinius, owner of The Winking Skeever, and the little sister of Sorex Vinius.
Where to find them
She’s often inside The Winking Skeever, where she’ll fire off a stream of questions about who you are and what you do. When she’s outside, she plays with her friends, including Kayd, and may ask you to join a game of tag.
Personality & relationships
Minette is outgoing and sure of herself. Whenever Corpulus talks about retiring and handing the Skeever to Sorex, she pipes up that she should run it instead – which flusters her father so much he ends up declaring he’ll never retire. She also knows her mead: when the cask runs dry, she’s the one who suggests which barrel to open next, and even Sorex agrees she should probably be in charge. Her father calls her “gregarious” and tells her it means smart, which it doesn’t.
If you marry Sorex, she attends the wedding with her father. If Corpulus dies, she speaks fondly of him and tells you she misses him.
Good to know
Oddly, Minette is a Nord while her father and brother are Imperials. Even stranger, she’s the one who writes hired-thug contracts on the player.
