The Dwarven Battleaxe brings Dwemer engineering to the art of chopping. It deals 20 base damage and weighs 23, a clear step above steel for two-handed fighters in the mid-game.
Dwarven sits in the heavy-armor branch of Smithing: you need Smithing 30 and the Dwarven Smithing perk to forge one. Its blade bears a strong resemblance to the arm of a Dwarven Centurion, so it will look right at home next to Dwarven Armor and a pile of scavenged scrap metal.

Tips and notes
- Temper with a
Dwarven Metal Ingot; the Dwarven Smithing perk doubles the improvement. - Dwemer ruins are full of scrap you can smelt into ingots, so crafting your own is usually easy.
- Prefer one hand free? Try the Dwarven War Axe.
