Charred Skeever Meat

Charred Skeever Meat is a scorched scrap of skeever flesh in Skyrim that restores only 2 Health, the weakest food in the game.

Charred Skeever Meat is a blackened piece of skeever flesh, already cooked (or rather burnt) when you find it. It is about as humble as a meal in Skyrim gets: light at 0.2 weight and worth only 4 gold, it is the kind of food you eat because nothing better is in your pack.

Effects

Eating it restores 2 points of Health. This is a simple instant restore with no lasting effect. Most cooked food restores five to ten points, so Charred Skeever Meat is clearly at the bottom of the list; even a Grilled Chicken Breast gives more than twice as much.

Where to find it

There is no cooking recipe for Charred Skeever Meat, so it cannot be made at a cooking pot or spit. The data available for this page does not list fixed locations or vendors.

Good to know

Do not confuse it with the alchemy ingredient Charred Skeever Hide, which is used to brew potions rather than eaten for its Health. If you want a real meal from game meat, cooking the cuts listed on Raw Meat is a far better use of a salt pile.

Where to find it

  • Cannot be cooked; no fixed source is documented in the available data.
