Sigrid is a Nord woman in Riverwood, wife of the village blacksmith Alvor and mother of Dorthe. She keeps the household running and, by the sound of it, keeps her husband on a short leash too.

Wandering around the village during the day and in Alvor and Sigrid’s House at night.
Quests
If you escape Helgen with Hadvar in Unbound, he brings you to her home during Before the Storm, where she welcomes him back and offers you both something to eat. She is friendlier towards you if you took Hadvar’s side over Ralof’s.
She can also be the kidnapping victim in the Companions quest Rescue Mission, in which case you have to bring her home from Chillwind Depths.
Personality & relationships
Sigrid hopes the war stays far from Riverwood and blames the Stormcloaks for stirring up trouble. She used to go to the market in Whiterun every month until the roads got too dangerous, and will happily give you directions there via Honningbrew Meadery.
Her main worry is Dorthe, who would rather hammer horseshoes than plant vegetables, knit blankets or cook stew with her mother. Their regular arguments usually end with Alvor pleading to be kept out of it. She makes Alvor wait for his water when he tries sweet talk, and sends Embry packing when he invites her for a drink. She also greets visitors with a reminder that she’s spoken for – or, for female visitors, a warning to keep away from her husband.
