The Scheming Servant is a Nord who hangs around Understone Keep in Markarth. He has no name, no shop and no story to tell – just someone he would very much like to see dead, and the coin to pay for it.
Where to find them
He appears in Understone Keep when his contract is active and wanders through the keep until the job is done. He is essential, so he can’t be killed – not even by an assassin with a grudge.
Quests
The Dark Brotherhood Forever: once you lead the Dark Brotherhood, repeatable contracts can send you to him. He hands over a leveled sum of gold and names a target for you to assassinate, then keeps loitering around the keep until the deed is done. Who the victim is and why he wants them gone is left to the contract itself – he isn’t the chatty type.
Good to know
He carries a copy of A Kiss, Sweet Mother and an iron dagger.
