Kjeld the Younger is a young Nord living in Kynesgrove, son of the town’s boss Kjeld and the innkeeper Iddra. Not to be mixed up with his father, who runs Steamscorch Mine and the town.

Personality & relationships
He greets strangers with a challenge, telling you he could probably take you and asking why you’re still hanging around. At home he’s a bit of a terror. His mother wants his help salting cheese curd; he wants to go hunting with his father, who says he can come once he can draw a bow to his shoulder. He insists he managed it yesterday.
His sister Froa gets the worst of it: he calls her stupid, threw her into a goat pen and frightened her with a story about selling her to vampires. Iddra scolds him for it, while his father mostly cheers him on and tells him to be his own man when he refuses kitchen work. He also lost one of his mother’s books, and she’d like it back.
