Arob is an Orc living in the stronghold of Dushnikh Yal, where she holds the title of Hunts-Wife. Her job is simple to describe and hard to do: bring home enough meat and hides to keep the whole stronghold going. She is one of the three wives of Chief Burguk, sharing him with Gharol and Shel.
Where to find them
Arob stays in and around Dushnikh Yal, where she also acts as one of the stronghold’s guards. You’ll often catch her chatting with her son about the day’s hunt.
Personality & relationships
Her son Nagrub is also her hunting apprentice. Since he is already a grown man, she may well be Burguk’s first wife. Their talks are a nice little mother-son lesson: when Nagrub gets bloodthirsty and impatient, she reminds him that a good hunter waits for the kill instead of craving it.
Arob is proud of her place as a chief’s wife and has nothing but praise for her husband, whom she credits with making the stronghold strong and wealthy. She is also helpful in her own gruff way, pointing visitors to Gharol for weapons and armor and to Murbul for poisons and cures.
Good to know
