Viarmo is the Altmer headmaster of the Bards College in Solitude. His personal mission is to make sure the College preserves the great deeds of the past, in poetry and song – and he takes it very seriously.
Tending the Flames
After High King Torygg’s death, Elisif the Fair bans the Burning of King Olaf festival. Viarmo sends you to the haunted tomb of Dead Men’s Respite to recover King Olaf’s Verse, a poem that proves the festival’s legitimacy. Complete it and you can join the Bards College.
