Elisif the Fair

Elisif the Fair is the young Jarl of Haafingar in Solitude and widow of High King Torygg, whose death at Ulfric's hands started the civil war.

Elisif the Fair is the Jarl of Haafingar, ruling from the Blue Palace in Solitude. She is the widow of High King Torygg – the king Ulfric Stormcloak killed with the Voice, sparking the civil war. Many see her as the Empire’s choice for the next High Queen of Skyrim.

The grieving queen

Elisif and Torygg were happily married, and his death left her grieving and angry. She is young and sincere, but inexperienced, and most of the hard work of running the hold falls to her steward, Falk Firebeard. She rarely leaves the palace for fear of Stormcloak assassins.

In the story

Elisif is a firm supporter of the Empire and General Tullius, whose headquarters in Castle Dour is just across the street. She also attends the peace council in Season Unending.
