Storn Crag-Strider is the old shaman of the Skaal Village on Solstheim and the father of Frea. He lives in the Shaman’s Hut, where you’ll usually find him at night. The Skaal follow the All-Maker, and Storn is the one who keeps their traditions alive.

When Miraak‘s influence turns the Skaal into sleepwalking builders, Storn is one of the few who keeps his head clear. He asks you to cleanse the All-Maker Stones and points you towards Neloth when you need to learn about the Black Books. In “The Gardener of Men”, Hermaeus Mora demands the Skaal’s secrets in exchange for the last word of Miraak’s Shout – and Storn decides to read the Black Book and pay that price himself. Mora takes his knowledge, and his life, and hands you the Word of Power.
