Drovas Relvi is a Dunmer who works at The Retching Netch, the cornerclub in Raven Rock on Solstheim (Dragonborn). Officially he serves guests; in practice he sweeps up endless ash and wonders how life ended up like this. He moved to the island hoping for more than a broom.
Where to find them
When you step off the boat, Drovas is one of the townsfolk working at the Earth Stone under Miraak’s control. Once the stone is freed he goes back to the Retching Netch. If you recruit him as a steward, he moves to Tel Mithryn for good.
Quests
In Reluctant Steward, after Varona Nelas is killed, you can offer him the job of steward to Neloth. He says yes before you finish asking, and he doesn’t even bother packing.
That eagerness turns out to have a reason. In A New Debt, Mogrul reveals that Drovas owed him 1,000 gold and now hides behind his Telvanni employer, so the bill passes to you. If you tell Mogrul you’ll be patient and then visit Drovas at Tel Mithryn, he claims to be broke, but with some pushing he hands over 250 gold. You still have to cover the rest.
Personality & relationships
Drovas answers to Geldis Sadri, the innkeeper, and their conversations sum up his job: Geldis wants the rooms cleaned twice a day, and Drovas apologises because the ash blows in faster than he can sweep. He also forgot to mention that the jazbay berries for Geldis’s Emberbrand Wine ran out weeks ago. He calls Geldis a tough boss but accepts it because it keeps a roof over his head. With guests he is polite and happy to brag about the authentic Dunmer food and drink.
