Alding is a Nord pirate, a crewman of the Blood Horkers serving under captain Stig Salt-Plank. Fashion is clearly not his priority: he wanders around in nothing but a ragged roughspun tunic and doesn’t bother with shoes.
Where to find them
In the Windpeak Inn in Dawnstar, drinking alongside Stig and the rest of the crew. They show up there in connection with the East Empire Company quest Rise in the East, in which you are tracking down the Blood Horkers.
Quests
Rise in the East – Alding is part of the crew you find at the inn, but it is his captain Stig who holds the information you need. Alding is just background muscle.
Personality & relationships
Alding is crude and loud. When the inn’s bard and server Karita brings the pirates their mead and tells them off for being beasts, Stig smoothly tries to charm her while Alding answers with a lewd remark that proves her point. He is loyal to his captain and comfortable being one of the crew rather than anyone in charge.
