Luaffyn is a Dunmer bard working at Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm. That alone makes her a bit of an oddity: the inn’s owner, Elda Early-Dawn, is said to have little love for Dark Elves, and most of Luaffyn’s people live down in the Gray Quarter. Yet here she is, keeping the Nords entertained.
Where to find them
She plays in a corner on the upper floor of Candlehearth Hall – and she never seems to stop. Day or night, she is there with her flute, lute or drums.
Services
Like other bards, she will play on request. She knows three songs, and you can ask for any of them. Under Imperial rule she may even break into The Age of Aggression – which is a lively choice of song in a Stormcloak-loving inn.
Quests
Blood on the Ice: Luaffyn is one of the people who can fall victim to the Butcher if the killer keeps striking during your investigation in Windhelm.
Good to know
Her repertoire has a hiccup: when you ask for The Age of Oppression, she sometimes sings the lyrics from The Age of Aggression instead. Same tune of politics, different side.
