Belyn Hlaalu is a Dark Elf farmer who owns Hlaalu Farm just outside Windhelm, while living in a house inside the city. As his name suggests, he descends from House Hlaalu, one of the old Great Houses of the Dunmer.

In Windhelm at his home, or out at Hlaalu Farm checking on things. The farm work itself is mostly done by his employee Adisla.
Services
Belyn buys any wheat you are carrying, even if you picked it from his own fields. Rob the farm, though, and he may send hired thugs after you.
Personality & relationships
Belyn is proud of growing crops in such a frozen land, and he believes hard work is the only way for the Dunmer to earn the Nords’ respect. He has little patience for fellow Dark Elves who complain about how Windhelm treats them, since in his view complaining achieves nothing.
That same no-nonsense attitude makes him a gruff boss. He teases Adisla about burning too much firewood and grumbles that someone named Endario keeps failing to deliver a frostwheat shipment, threatening to give him a thrashing. He also has a curious fixation on Captain Lonely-Gale and his past, which Adisla does not share at all.
