Withershins by Yaqut Tawashi is pure Sheogorath-flavoured comedy. Zaki, a middle-aged tailor, is convinced that every conversation he has flows in alphabetical order, and his wife Kazagha thinks it’s just another of his delusions. As the day goes on, it becomes clear that he is right. The cure he finally gets from a healer has an odd side effect of its own, and the last sentence of the book is the punchline.
